"Brunch like no other"
I've been to Cafe Luxembourg many times, and this Sunday brunch was bustling, however the front desk staff was really accommodating. We had an OpenTablereservation, so one cannot expect an on time seating. Cafe Luxembourg was only off by 6 minutes. No problemo. Food: Salmon tartare with jalapeño, superb! Veggie hash had rave reviews at the table. We all shared.
Frites alert: Just order them with anything! Double fried, just like in Belgium! I could make this a main course. Mayo please. Not ketchup.
Atmosphere: Art Deco. Be sure and pick up a postcard or two of the three naked babes at the bar. Classic.

"Memorable Memorial Day Brunch"
I have been here a few times now...each time with a friend. We travel from Baltimore to New York for a day trip. Cafe Luxembourg has never disappointed. The food, the service, skillfully-made drinks and ambiance are all reasons we keep coming back. My travel companion spilled her drink and a member of the waitstaff was there in an instant to quickly clean it up and de-escalate the situation; it was though it never happened. Sound minor, but it meant a lot to us since we were from out of town and had no change of clothes...they caught it before it went in her lap. Easy to go to...not far from Central Park (West Side). We both would highly recommend the Cafe Luxembourg. (FYI...we made a reservation online in advance of our trip).
